
The film "The Long Night Will End", directed by Wang Tong and starring Rao Xiaozhi, Qu Chuxiao, Guo Yiqian and others, arrived at the red carpet of the Golden Goblet Ceremony of the Shanghai International Film Festival on the evening of June 14.

The film focuses on an aging society, with nanny Ye Xiaolin (played by Wan Qian) as the core character. It tells the story of how she disguised herself to enter an elderly family and plotted to commit a crime. Her encounter with the breeder Ma Deyong (played by Rao Xiaozhi) broke the original balance of life, and the policeman Zhou Ping intertwined their fates while investigating the case. The film explores issues such as the dignity of the elderly, family relationships, and death education, and arouses the audience's attention and thinking on the issue of life and death.
This film is one of the Chinese-language films shortlisted for the main competition unit of the Golden Goblet Awards at the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival and will have its world premiere during the festival.
