The exhibition "A Century of Guarding: From the Forbidden City to the Palace Museum" is on display at the Meridian Gate
2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Palace Museum. Starting from September 30, the exhibition "A Century of Guarding - From the Forbidden City to the Palace Museum" will be open to the public in the Meridian Gate Exhibition Hall.

The exhibition, divided into three sections: "Unified Cultural Heritage," "Century-Old Heritage," and "Myriad Aspects of Life," features 200 cultural relics (sets), offering a three-dimensional illustration of the remarkable continuity, innovation, unity, inclusiveness, and peace inherent in Chinese civilization. It comprehensively showcases the Palace Museum's development from its inception to its tortuous growth, from initial difficulties to rapid progress, and from exploration to relentless innovation. The exhibition includes works such as "Five Oxen," "Along the River During the Qingming Festival," "Bo Yuan Tie," and the Lotus and Crane Square Pot.
