
UNESCO issued a press release on the 17th, announcing that 74 documentary heritage items will be newly included in its Memory of the World Register, including the "Suizhou Zenghouyi Chime Bells" and "Shaolin Temple Stele (566-1990)" submitted by China, and the "Stele of Donation to the Buddhist Temple on Mount Ceylon (February 15, 1409)" left by Zheng He, jointly submitted by China and Sri Lanka. So far, a total of 18 Chinese documentary heritage items have been selected into the "Memory of the World Register".
