Some of Mr. Feng Zikai's works are collected by China National Academy of Painting
Today (25th), a donation ceremony for Mr. Feng Zikai's works was held at the China National Academy of Painting. Mr. Feng Zikai's family donated 7 precious works of art and the inkstone used by Mr. Feng Zikai to the China National Academy of Painting free of charge.
At the China National Academy of Painting, six works by Mr. Feng Zikai, including "Children Who Do Not Know Spring Ask Why the Grass Is Green", "Green Grass Brushing the Head of Travelers", "Long Strips Brushing the Waves of Spring", and a handscroll jointly created by the Feng family, were donated to the collection.

The poem "Children do not know spring, and ask why the grass is green" by Yuan Mei of the Qing Dynasty describes children's curious exploration of nature and the vitality and hope of spring.
The line "Spring is in the sound of flower sellers" from Wang Gu's "Night Boat" in the Song Dynasty expresses the happy time after waking up from a dream of drinking, with the small window quiet and the sound of flower sellers.

The ingenious fusion of Chinese literature and painting is the unique charm of Mr. Feng Zikai's Chinese cartoons. Mr. Feng Zikai is the "founder of modern Chinese cartoons". His painting style is unique. He is keen to criticize the current situation through his paintings. He uses concise lines and body language to convey the emotions and inner world of the characters, and expresses his delicate observation and warm care for the times. He is innocent and wise.

Feng Yu, grandson of Mr. Feng Zikai: Its value should be transferred to national museums, art galleries, art academies and other collection institutions to lead the development of art through collection. Art academies can also hold exhibitions for the general public to visit and appreciate, while promoting China's excellent traditional culture. All creative works should return to the people.

Liu Wanming, President of the China National Academy of Painting: Reality, humor, philosophy, poetry, warmth, I think these few words can basically present the overall appearance of Mr. Feng Zikai's painting style, which is overflowing with a deep Chinese spirit, simplicity, kindness, and tolerance, and is presented in sincere and simple language, bringing us thoughts on people and society.

Cai Yonghua, Vice President of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts: We can see that in addition to the elements of Chinese painting, such as brush and ink modeling and calligraphy, we can also see his influence on Western art, especially the minimalism that was popular at that time.
